Helping to be school ready!
The Bambini Program is available to children who are enrolled to attend St Catherine’s School in the January Reception intake. The children can attend Bambini for the final two terms before starting school.
The program is run in Term 3 & 4 on a Friday morning between 9am and 11:45am.
Our Bambini Program is an important chance for children to make a smooth transition to school. The children become familiar with the school and get to meet their classmates before they start their Reception year. It is also a fantastic time for parents to get the chance to get to know each other and build relationships before school starts.
Bambini is a play based learning opportunity for children facilitated by teachers from our Early Years Team. Children are introduced to some of our basic routines through the school day and are able to experience and familiarise themselves with the school, the staff, the facilities, and the children they will be starting their St Catherine’s learning journey with. It also gives our teachers a chance to get to know your child and find out just what they are curious about.
The program is run on a user-pays basis. Whilst we encourage you to participate, for those that choose not to, there are other transition opportunities provided for children commencing school with us.
